New Collection Short Story
The moon hung low and bright, spilling soft light over the quiet bushes below. A tiny fairy wandered through it, hopping from one black raspberry bush to the next, not really in a hurry, just enjoying the sweetness in the air and the way everything seemed to glow at night.
She wasn’t paying much attention when she jumped a little too far.
And then she sliped.
Right into someone.
Leaves rustled, berries shifted, and she landed in the middle of a strawberry bush where a boy fairy had been sitting, completely still, looking up at the stars. Now he was staring at her instead, clearly not expecting… that.
“Oh” she said quickly, a little embarrassed, pushing herself up. “I didn’t see you.”
He let out a small laugh, still a bit surprised. “I can tell.”
There was a pause, but not an awkward one. Just quiet. “Can I sit?” She asked.
“That’s fine with me.” He smiled shyly.
The strawberries around them glowed softly in the moonlight, and neither of them seemed in a rush to move. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, glancing up at the sky, then back at him.
“I like it out here,” she said. “Everything feels different at night.”
“Yeah,” he nodded, looking up again. “It’s quieter. Like the world slows down for a bit.”
She shifted a little closer without really thinking about it, both of them now looking up at the same sky. The stars stretched endlessly, scattered like tiny sparks.
Sitting there in the strawberry bush, wrapped in moonlight, it just felt right, like they had somehow ended up exactly where they were supposed to be.
Under the same soft moonlight, where black raspberries glisten and strawberries glow, their story quietly began sweet, unexpected, and a little bit magical. That feeling… that moment… is exactly what inspired our new Fairytale Collection ✨
